Trying to Catch the Spark Again
So part of my new years resolution includes the obligatory weight loss goals. I’ve found that the best way to lose weight and actually get into shape isn’t to get all crazy and cut out carbs, sugar, going fat free, low fat, blah blah blah. That might work for some, that might work for a few weeks even. I always go for long term results though. For a long time I’ve used Sparkpeople.net. They’re free (awesome!) and they don’t have you do crazy things like drink the water you cook your broccoli in, or consume only liquids for a whole month. They present realistic changes and let you take them in baby steps (you know how I love baby steps).
So I don’t have much to lose, but I know it will be tough. Even with the baby steps I know I’m going to have trouble getting back into a routine since my life has been so chaotic for such along time.

You might want do to a progress report on your NYRs to help keep you being a “finisher.” I’m doing that for my human. His first New Years Resolution Report is my last post. Visit me at http://www.SandySays1.wordpress.com

I’ve joined this site just after reading your post, but kept my profile private though. Thanks for the link, Sabiha! I really need to lose a few pounds.
