Eid Prayer Coming Up!

So I am a bit excited!  There is a big Eid prayer coming up.  On December 8th at 9am there will be an Eid prayer at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center.  I think I will try to go, insha’allah this will be one of the best times to meet up and talk with other sisters from the area.

Whats a little confusing to me about it is though, well one of the many things, is that no where on the website for the Convention center does it mention this.  Yet, its on the website for the local Masjid and on the big flashy billboard right outside of the center, so I guess it really is going on there.  Someone just must have neglected to put it in the Events calendar.

I have to be honest though.  I’m still really new and I have absolutely no clue as to what goes on at Eid or the significance of this holiday.  Insha’allah I will learn much by Monday!

My training also at work has been delayed, but this may work out better for my husband and I.  We’re being trained right now to monitor phone calls, maybe if we do good enough we will stay on as permanent Quality Assurance?  That would be neat and definitely much better then having to be on the phone.

I wonder though, since we would have to monitor all programs, would it still be haraam for me to do if we have to monitor the Bank of America program?
